A native of East Hampton, John has been with Dayton, Ritz + Osborne since 1989. He graduated in 1986 from Saint Joseph’s College in Maine with a B.A. degree.
John is passionate about the community. He has been both President and Board Chair of the East Hampton Village Preservation Society, he has served on the East Hampton Village Zoning Board of Appeals and has been a Trustee of both the East Hampton Historical Society and the East Hampton Library.
In his free time John enjoys a round of golf, indoor cycling and relaxing on the beach or in his backyard.
John and his wife live in East Hampton and have two sons.

Frederick has insurance in his veins. The son of the founder of Ritz Insurance, he has been with Dayton, Ritz + Osborne since 1991.
Frederick graduated from St. Lawrence University with a B.A. in Political Science. Early in his career he was a bond broker at J J Kenny Company in New York City.
Frederick has been President of the Lions Club of Bridgehampton and served on the board of the Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church. He has held senior leadership positions in numerous other organizations.
His personal interests include golf, skiing and tennis. Frederick and his wife live in Water Mill and have two daughters and a son.

Jeff has an exceptional understanding of commercial insurance and has been with Dayton, Ritz + Osborne since 1998. He holds a B.A. in Business Management from Lynchburg College in Virginia and is a Certified Insurance Counselor.
Devoted to community service, Jeff has been deeply involved for many years with the East Hampton Neighborhood House, an organization created to benefit young children and their families. He’s also active in the Sag Harbor Booster Foundation and is a member of the Sag Harbor Volunteer Fire Department.
Jeff is an avid golfer and skier. He and his wife live in Sag Harbor, have two sons and one very active Golden Retriever.

Agency Partner Ava Lattari entered the insurance industry in 2003 and has been with DRO since 2014. She earned her CAPI (Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance) designation in 2016 with Chubb Insurance Group and Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In 2018, she won the prestigious Emerging Leader Award from PRMA (Private Risk Management Association) and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Big I Suffolk Association (2016-present).
Customer service has always been Ava’s area of focus, and she feels the insurance industry has enabled her to evolve service models around important changing environments for her clients. She also enjoys working on a personal level with people from all walks of life, which she believes creates long-lasting relationships.
When she’s not working, Ava can be found on her beloved Peloton bike (she admits she’s a little obsessed with it…). Although some people might consider those long rides work, for Ava, it’s a little bit of euphoria.
